The Story Behind Ancestral Echoes

Every Family Story Begins with Someone Willing to Ask the First Question.

Every family has a story waiting to be rediscovered. It can be found in old photographs, handwritten letters, faded records, and cherished memories. My own journey began with a single question, and today it is my privilege to help others uncover, understand, and preserve the stories that make every family unique.

A Lifelong Passion Begins.

For me, Brenda Wolfe, that first question came in elementary school.

A simple family history assignment sparked a curiosity that would quietly shape the course of my life. As I began researching my family, I quickly realized I knew very little about my father's side of the family. At the time, there were no online databases, digital archives, or genealogy websites to search. Following my parents' difficult separation, I became determined to uncover the missing pieces of my family's story.

Long before genealogy became a profession for me, I became my own little detective.

By the time I reached high school, my determination led me to locate my father on my own. That reunion became a turning point in my life. He introduced me to a relative who had spent years documenting the Wolfe family history. Receiving that research opened an entirely new chapter in my understanding of my family's past, and I remain in contact with that family historian to this day.

A Calling Becomes a Career.

When online genealogy resources emerged in the late 1990s, I eagerly returned to my research with renewed enthusiasm. Like many people, life became busy with work, family, and responsibilities, but my passion for family history never disappeared.

A few years ago, I made the decision to fully dedicate myself to the profession I had loved for decades.

Today, I continue my education through BYU Pathway, where I've earned professional certificates in Family History and am completing my bachelor's degree. What began as childhood curiosity has grown into a lifelong commitment to helping others discover, understand, and preserve their own family stories.

More Than Research.

People often think genealogy is about finding records.

I believe it's about finding people.

Behind every census record was a family.

Behind every immigration document was a dream.

Behind every faded photograph was someone whose life mattered.

My greatest privilege is helping families reconnect with those stories and preserve them for future generations.

Because every family has a story waiting to be discovered.

And I'd be honored to help you discover yours.
